JDM D15B just arrived???
I recieved my jdmD15B yesterday and it was an automatic motor....I can just throw any D series fly wheel on correct? It came with a P08 how do I know if its auto too? Are the check engine lights the same as the US ecu? I plugged the ECU into my car seems to run the same but with a check engine prob for vtec and 1 wire O2 (i have a dx with 4 wire currently) and maybe auto code?
Any help would be appreciated
thanks

If there are 4 ecu plugs then the ecu is auto. Yes you can throw your clotch/flywheel on just take of the torque converter and plate. Make sure you use the flywheel bolts from the MT cause they are different than the AT ones. Some auto motors use different cams but I dont know for sure on this motor.
::edit:: I mean if the ecu is pinned for 4 plugs

Also on USDM motors on the back right corner of the intake manifold is a sensor with a vaccume line and a plug (black little round cylinder thing).....on the D15b theres no spot for it do I need it when running the P08?
The ecu only has 3 plugs...but My sister uses an auto p28(now chipped ran fine both ways threw CEL when unchipped) in her sol and thats 3 plugs too.

He has a code 19...if he has an auto p08 ecubeen there done that!!!...you need to get a 5 speed p28 or a p08....p28's work identical to the p08 and are 1000 times easier to find.

most jdm motors dont have the evap purge solenoid and dont use the charcoal canister system (that black can deal on the firewall). if u use a p28, i think u can just plug the solenoid into the harness, and leave the vaccum lines unplugged
