b18c into a 1992 integra. question with tranny
i found a great deal on a b18c long block. 1500 shipped to my house. my 92 integra ls has a cable tranny. if i use the b18c can i still use my ls cable tranny? do i need other things like a gsr ecu ? do i need any other things to complete this swap except for tools? sorry for not searching, but i cant find much info on this.
92 is obd1
so all you need is a chipped p28 or an obd1p72
run the vtec wires
keep all your orig mounts
and your tranny has longer gears in wich is good for turbo.
also the bottom engine to tranny brackets need to be the originals from ls

You can use your ls cable tranny. You could probably use a p61 ECU out of a 92-93 GSR. Sorry I'm not up on the obd1 swaps.
Oh and nice find, I wish I had been able to get a b18c longblock for $1500 shipped 6 months ago. Would have saved me a lot of money on my ls/vtec.
