B18c in a DA
Just wondering how hard the swap is other than it being a cable to hydro swap. Any fitment problems or anything along those lines? Mount kits? I plan on keeping my ls cable tranny on the b18c just to keep things simple. Thanx 4 the help.

Re: B18c in a DA (gen2spoon)
If you keep the LS cable tranny then it will bolt in with the proper OEM mounts. All you need to do is change the driver's side mount and bracket on the B18C to the 90-93 style bracket and mount. The LS tranny will bolt up and it'll all drop back in just like stock, no fitment issues.
Just keep in mind that the LS tranny gearing isn't ideal for the B18C powerband and you'll drop out of the powerband in between shifts. Check with HASport about their EF B series hydro kit that just came out. You should be able to put it to use and allow yourself the better gearing of a hydro B series VTEC tranny. Of course you could always get a 92-93 YS1 GSR cable or JDM equivalent tranny.

Re: B18c in a DA (VTECVillain)
you would better off just trying to find a ys1 like stated earlier. if you get a ef cable-hydro conversion from hasport you would have to custom fabricate a tranny mount for everything to work. you could easily sell the hydro tranny for a good amount of money, buy a ys1 and have money left over for future mods.

If you are looking for simplicity then diving into the tranny is not that way. Just fine a cable b16a1 tranny and you will be fine. The ls tranny will suck for a gsr.

Re: (Manuel)
My teg is a 92 ls making it obd1. I was thinkn bout keeping the stock ls tranny just make it easy but the gearing will b totaly off for the b18c so ill prolly convert to hydro or try and find a 1st gen b16 tranny.
