When i hit full boost in 3rd gear it hits 11psi, kinda stutters a bit ( still pulling hard) then the higher my motor revs, the boost starts to slowy drop eventually down to 6 psi. Its a t25 turbo on a hf manifold. With the wastegate dumping to the atmosphere. Do u think there might be a leak in my ic piping connectors somewhere? I looked everything and tightened them all and they seem to have a good seal. Also if i put my hand in front of teh manifold i can feel air blowing past the adaptor plate on the turbo. Also what would cause it to stutter when it hits 11 psi ( only stutters for a second)

 

maybe a clogged injectors or fuel pump is not delivering enough fuel...or whatever kind of fuel management could not be delivering enough fuel at the moment and then it corrects itself...I'd get it checked.....

 

That seems to be a common problem with the T25's. They're too small of turbos and they die off at the higher RPMS. Also, you're really maxing out that turbo. I thought 12psi on those were almost the max they could handle.

Otherwise what's your exhaust setup?

your definately in need of a bigger exhaust, also you need to get that bitch tuned .....im not sure if the vafc is doing any justice for you either (you may need something else for your tuning, it may get by....but if you want it to be reliable and to push out the most out of the setup then id upgrade.)

I think tuning will clear a lot of things up for you, car seemed to sputter a bit like you said when I was riding with you. Still pulls very hard and like a champ though.

Im also not sure how long that motor can handle 11psi.....running a steady 6psi wil definately make that thing last longer

 

It runs a steady 7-8 psi, but it hits 11psi for a sec when it hits full boost, then drops.
