Any one with turbo ZC - Need help
with a stock bottem end you should boost about 5-6 lbs of boost. as far as the fuel pump goes, i think stock can take it, but i guess you can upgrade to a integra fuel pump...get a FPR too...
12psi on a stock fuel pump
no fmu, no regulator, no extra computer stuff
the secret?
I put two injectors (stock 210cc) on the intake near the air filter, they turned on from an MSD RPM switch that was set to 3200 rpms..
so when the turbo would start to spin, the injectors would spray fuel and would have enuf time to 'mix'
it lasted for a good 10,000 miles
I would have gotten all that fancy, shmance fmu stuff, but I was on a tight budget
good luck

Am I reading this correctly? You guys are running 12psi on your ZC's?
I've got a tubo ZC and I couldn't imagine 12psi. I run 8 at peak. I'm also running stock fuel pump with Zdyne ECU and 310cc injectors. I'd love to turn up the boost!!!! Wooohooo!!!!

I got the injectors from a 94 Acura Legend 6 cylinder. They ran me 20 bucks a pop at a junkyard.
I have a totally stock engine but my fuel and timing management is very reliable. Check out Zdyne.com. They specialize in making ef ecu's reprogramable so that they can read boost, supply fuel and retard timing amoung other cool stuff.
I've driven my car with 8psi for about 10 months now and I've never heard a ping.

do you have an si trannie, or a zc trannie, basically wondering if you can use your
clutch from an si in a zc trannie?
- what size a.r. housing are you runnng and when dose your turbo kick in and how long dose it last. what would be ideal for a daily driver/moderate track ZC with a ZC trannie. the one im purchasing has a .97 housing-TO4s with a p-trim.
Its a big boy, i was told .67 would be ideal, how bad in your opinion would that affect perf.

I suggest you guys read up some info on the Zdyne web site: http://www.zdyne.com/ (like "glagola1" previously posted) They have some useful info there.
Although it will work, secondary injectors is not the best way to go. I have a friend who runs 9-10 psi daily driven on stock internals. He has a Vortech FMU and an inline MSD fuel pump. No fuel problems. Since he is running such high psi, his injectors will eventually lock up. The most efficient way to get more fuel into the engine is to keep the injectors open longer and not to just force more fuel to them. I am in the process of building a ZC turbo and I plan oin using the Zdyne computer. Just my 2 cents...

P.S.: By the way, I am using stock DSM (Eclipse, Talon, Laser) stock injectors which are 450cc and with slight modification will fit right into the Honda fuel rail.
