Default Explain -3an and -10an sizes?

What exactly is the size of a -3an feed line and a -10an return line. are they 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch ? the whole "an" thing just confuses me to death.

My bad i didn't know this was the classifieds section. It won't let me delete this post either

an stands for "army navy" and is a standardized syatem of sizing... the number (-3) for example would be 3/16 which would be equivalent to a 3/16 id hose... a 10 would be equivalent to a 5/18 id hose (10/16=5/8) essentially take the number and put it over 16
