For a while I was thinking about picking up an LSD and everyone was telling me to go with the quaife. There is a Kaaz LSD in the classifed for pretty cheap compared to the cost of the quaife and I was wondering if there is a big difference between the 2. Thanks in advance for any replies.

one word lifetime warranty of quaife. Its the best i think my opinion get one from earl or camp1320. Both have good deals on them.

 

I've been using the Kazz for around three years now and I absolutely love it. It locks instantly and the traction is amazing, especially during cornering. The Kazz is a clutch type diff., meaning some day I will have to rebuild the clutch pack, but other than that I have no complaints. I'll probably have to replace my clutch at least twice again before I even look at the diff., so I honestly don't care about the whole "maintenance" downside that everyone brings up. If I was buying a new one I'd probably try the Quaife, but I'm not sure it has the quick/aggressive lockup the Kazz has. How cheap is the Kazz you found?

yep, get the quaife, its a lot more expensive, but much much better quality.
ive seen many kaaz's that have messed up!

Yeha and that includes racing!

 

How much are Kaaz's? Mine quaife was only 800 new.

 

camp1320 has the quaife's for $780, but the kaaz is like $500. hmmmm
