well, first you must figure out what you need in a lsd. quaife is good for most users (low maintainence, lifetime warranty) but for outright performance, you need a clutch type lsd. they will ultimately be faster, but at a cost. they require expensive fluid changes, and periodic rebuilds. if you decide to go clutch tpe, i would rather an ATS lsd. they have more plates, and i have found them to be much more durable, with increased initial torque of the kaaz unit.

I think most street guys stay away from Kaaz, just since they are noisey at low speeds while turning.
I'm installing a Gear Speed transmission in my civic this weekend with a Kaaz LSD, along with a ACT Streetlight flywheel and Centerforce DFX clutch. I'll have pics up and review on the setup.

definately get the quaife if your car is a daily driver. the kazz is better suited for racing, and for guys who can rebuild a tranny during their lunch break.
plus you can't beat the lifetime warranty on the quaife.
