Default Cars finally back...pistons, cams and all!

Woo Hoo! Got my car back...cams, pistons and all!
Im super duper happy right now cause i finally got my car back!! What a change! She isnt near as civilized as when I drove her last. Id have to say shes just beasty now. It barely idles right now, and theres a fair amount of clutch chatter, and theres some valve noises (tapping), but other than that and the louder growl it was pretty nice drive. I will say this....the JDM valve cover looks great with a black plug wire cover and oild cap.....Ill get pics soon.

To anyone that hasnt been following, here is what I had put on:
Exedy ceramatallic clutch
Fidanza flywheel
Unorthodox SS pullies
Crower St2 cams (big lobes)
Crower Valve springs
Crower retainers
Type S pistons
Cometic head gasket
AEM cam gears
JDM valve cover
ES motor mounts

Now i just need to break her in real quick so I can dyno it.....It will take me a while to log 500 miles......Ill keep ya posted

Hey man! Haven't seen you over on Ludeconduct much. Glad to hear you got it all put together. You still planning on spraying with that?

Same here. Or I would just wait the 4 days. Or at least that's about how many miles I put on mine in 4 days.

Maybe I'm a little slow or missed some of this, but is this a 5th gen H22A? Stock rods? How about a tuning device? V_AFC? I can tell you that with those cams and pistons, your WAAAAAY lean in the VTEC rpm range. I would not run it in VTEC until you get some tuning done, or it won't last you long.

Well its a 5g on stock rods....and no im not retarded enough to run an engine that is untuned into vtec when there are only 20 miles on the motor.....

as for the clutch....i got the thin disk and I like how it grabs but its pretty chattery....ill get used to it im sure...

As for the nitrous....Im still juiceing it, now im just gonna turn it up some, bout to a 75 shot and see what it can do.....
