charge pipe poped off coupling, is my turbo OK?????????????????????????
ok it popped off cuz it's gay... anyhow, i drove about 2 hours like that for about 100km (60miles) but i didn't put much load on the engine, like 1/7 throttle... so i didn't spool it much
but also i notice, even if i floor it, it doesn't spool anyway when the charge pipe is off.. just spools like nothing.. hahha i dunno
so is my turbo ok.. seems ok but i wonder if i did any damage cuz i heard if u boost like without any load the turbo spins to inifinity and beyond but as i said, even if i wanted to, it woldn't spool anyways..

it is possible to overspin the turbo at too high an rpm but it doesnt sound like you did that. i would be more concerned with the motor since it was sucking in unfiltered air. which is fine on a low mileage drag race car but not on a daily driver.
my stupid charge pipes and couplings were both BLACK so it didn't look as it was ******* loose.. dumb *** colors.

yeah doesn't matter on the engine, it wasn't sucking much unfilter air... it's a low mileage engine anyways...
ok so like high rpm, i didn't rev more than 4k and it was on LOW load, so it's ok i assume?? it works fine now still...
but i want to ask how come i can't really spool it when the charge pipe was off, like it hardly spool.. is it becasue the turbo is a feedback system needing more exhaust air thus needing more INTAKE air??? is this right?

i didn't fix it cuz when i opened my hood, i couldn't tell it was loose, the pipes are black and couplings are black.... hard to see
also, i heard my turbo spool up before like 0235923 times so i would know what it sounds like spooling.. when the pipes were off, it spoolled like barely, i thought you can spool without anything attached.

dont worry about it it's happened to me a million times and it's been fine, hell i've even wound my car out full throttle w/ a charge pipe disconnected.
