No comparison. The S03 is their top end tire that replaces the S02. Grip is good both wet and dry. Wear sucks, but thats what you get from a max performance tire.

That's not quite right. The S03 is not an all out performance tyre - it is designed for good performance without sacrificing comfort. The top performance tyre is the RE-01.

On a stock rim - it's hard to beat the RE010s

On a wider or taller rim - I would pick the S-03s or P-Zeros

Actually new S-03 has very good treadwear in comparison with the S-02, If I remember correctly I think it had a treadwear rating of 300 which is much more than the stock RE10's.

The S-03 has a treadwear rating of 220. The RE010 160 or something and the S-02 180.

No, the RE520 & RE540 are the R compound tyres. RE-01 is just their best performing road tyre.
