the ziex are a good tire but not much of a performace tire. don't get me wronge they are good tries. im running them right now, but damn do they spin, but their good in the rain.

if u want something that will stick. buy the AVS ES 100s. damn good tire. much better grip that the ziex. and will last for a while aslwell. good in the rain from what ive heard too. haven't heard much about the hankook tires.

I have a few friends who have the Falken 512's and they like them. I myself have the Toyo Proxes T1-s and I lOVE them. Tremendous grip in rain and dry. I auto-x with them and they work very well.

I have the 512's and I love them. They DO handle good in the rain and anything else I've ever put them through... except racing, never really did that with them.

I can't say anything about the Hankooks but I hear the Yokohama's are pretty good, supposedly grippier than the Falkens but I got the falkens since I need an All Season tire, not just a summer tire.

From my experiences...

Hankook Ventus were as hard as a brick.

Falken Ziex were soft and felt great but felt like the sidewalls wanted to buckle around hard turns.

Yoko ES100's are nice but going around a bank pretty fast (90mph on merging freeways), the tires feel like they want to break loose on me.

Verdict: For daily driving or all around driving, with daily being the most, just stick with the cheaper Ziex. Of course others will have different opinions to just get what you feel will work the best for you.

i guess you can say that. i have these on my car and i hit a pothole and crack my front passenger and bent the rear passenger wheel and the tires didnt even bust. i later ordered some new wheels and slap these tires back on.

I have ziex's now and there good tires that have a good wear life. The yoko's are probly a lil bit better tires but also dont last as long as the ziex's.

If you're going to be running in the snow don't get the Yoks, very slippery.

if you're out to join the honda-tech bandwagon, get the yokohamas. I had those on the hatch and i guess they're cool.... if you like sliding in the rain.

if you're looking for an amazing high performance all season that's not going to break the bank, get the ziex 512's. They were rated #1 in consumer reports for all season performance, i sell a **** load of them, and i even stand behind them enough to rock them on my VOLKS.

I like my Ziex's better than the ES100s Ive had and better than the Azenis Ive had.

They're the best pick here for a daily driver where you don't want to listen to a ton of tire noise and have to replace tires every 15k miles or so.

The Ziex may not be the grippiest, but for the majority of HT I think they're more than what you will be using in day to day driving.

how did Hankook get into the selections?

I'd go with Ziex....best all-season tires

the ES100's road noise is a bit louder if u care about that crap.... but i think its a lil stickier than the Ziex

Ziex has that rim/lip protector which is a +++ and the price for it is so cheap everywhere! oh...yeah also the 360 treadwear is nice for a daily driver...

i actually just ordered the ZIEX last week from discounttiredirect.com

I have the 512's and they handle pretty good to me in both DRY and WET conditions. They are excellent for daily driving and I have no negative feedback on them. Oh yea, the rim protector is also a big +++++. good luck

from my experience as well.

the only thing i don't like about the 512's is that they spin like **** if you try racing with them. of course i'm the only fucktard that tried that.

I had Dunlop FM901's on my old gunmetal Rota Slips...man they're an awesome tire. Not sure how much they are but they'd be worth it!
