the AVS ES100's are better than kumho's. no kidding a performance street tire will handle like crap in the snow. common sense.

Kuhmo = Decent driving tire, not so good traction tire for racing, and OMG I about died a lot in the snow with them.

Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712s are SICK...the 711s are ***...
the 712s, however, are a very soft tire, so be sure to have your allignment checked and done...

I've had 711's. 712's, and currently on ES100's. All decent tires at great prices. Lets just say that I wouldn't give up my Yoko's for Kumho's ever. The Kumho's were good tires and I liked them untill I got the Yoko's and realized how much better they are. Little more money but still a good deal at $72 each mounted and balanced (Americas tire).

I've had AVSES100 and Kumho 711 and I honestly like the 711's better. They feel like a bit harder compound, but the handling difference isnt enough to justify the $100 increase in price for AVSES100. What AVS do, Azenis do better. If you want a good all around daily driver tire that you wanna put through the twisties sometimes get 711's...if you want real grip get azenis.

And 712's are absolute ****...

I was on a tight budget when I needed tires. They were mainly on a daily driver, but I had a lil' fun with them. Worked wonders in the rain. Big channels to move out water faster. The guy tried to talk me into 712's, but I'm in Seattle (always raining) so I got the 711's.

711s and 712s are great for daily driving, nothing more. good looking tread, good tread life.
