anyone riding on HP or GR-2 ?
i have a 94 coupe, with coilovers lowered about 2.5 inches! would either one of these shocks reduce my bounce???? i'm curious cuz i can get a smokin deal on either set, but not a great deal on the adjustables

thanks in advance

I would say go for the tokico blues......i had em on my accord wit 1.75 drop....they worked great.....if those 2 were your only choices ....go for the tokicos...if not save up for better ones....its def worth the investment

Any shock will blow very quickly on a 2.5" drop... Yes it will work for a while, but will blow out very quickly because there is no room for the strut/shock to expand and contract much. The shocks will just start bottoming out. One of my friends had KYB AGX on his car... Blew them up in about 3 months with a low drop... My advice is either buy a true coilover system or raise your car to around 1.75". So that the shock can do its work and wont blow out so quickly.

get Koni yellows those are your best bet. if you want to be dropped that low and want a good ride you have to pay either get koni yellows or get real coilovers like teins.
btw, what sleeve type coilovers are you using anyways. most have very high spring rates, except for Ground control is probably the best sleeve type coilovers.

i'm riding on stage 1 tom motorsports. there almost identical to the ground controls. (iodized sleeve, single adjustable lock ring w/ locking hex bolt) they feel alot like ground controls too cuz my buddys riding on a set of ground controls. and there coilovers so its linear spring rate not progressive. i'm picking up a set of kyb agx's on saturday, those should help a bunch! anyone riding on kyb agx's?
