Default What to do before bar and no papers!?!

Ok i have a little problem. Im going for the Bar at the end of the year (or i plan to). I got the motor from a member on the site, and he installed it. But we have no papers from the motor, what is there that we could do that i could still get it bar'd? Could we right out something saying that i bought the motor from him? Or do we need papers from the place that he got it from? Thanks

I thought you needed something that says the motor is legal and stuff? They dont need anything like that? So i could just go to the ref, and ill be fine then (when i get my header)?

When they look up the VIN from the motor, the system will tell them if it's been reported as missing/stolen if the original owner sent that info in. So don't worry about the paper work too much.

make sure all your visable parts (intake, headers, etc) are stock to go through it hassle free, after market parts are fine as long as they have a carb number (name brands such as greddy, aem, etc) but yeah they'll run the vin and find out, they check everything including the ecu, and how much pressure the gas cap has, etc etc... good luck
