yes you can, but if you buy a rod with floating wrist pin then you have to have the oem piston machined. not that much trouble, just curious why you want to upgrade your rods? are you using a different oe piston, or the same ones? what app?

well to be completely honest .. i just didnt feel like spending the extra money on pistons if i didnt have to .. and im not out for 500hp or anything maybe some nitrous for the track but thats about it.. but i just wanted to insure i didnt break rods sence that seems to be a pretty week point on b16's ..
i dont know what you think??

im telling everyone
jk. If youre going to spray shawn, get some pistons, you wont regret it i dont think. You probably need to get the block honed since its seen some good usage, put some decent pistons in there, 10:5 and a 75 shot and your car would be OUT y0!

any time u get new pistons its a good idea, bc often the sleeves are scratched and you dont want that. Pistons with nitrous is a good idea, a block guard wouldnt be a bad one either. Forged pistons can definitly take more of a beating than stock cast honda, so if you werent tuned too great(wouldnt suggest it anyways on nitrous) they may hold up better than oem pistons. $400 and you can raise or lower your comp to do whatever u want. Your shoebox would be nasty with about 10.8:1, itr cams and a 50 shot, and would be quite safe if tuned
