Default All motor B16 - please help

I would like to go "all motor" with my B16. Nothing too radical, I just want a car that would do 13.9-14.1 @ 97-98 or so at the track on street tires. My best ET right now is 14.6, best mph is 95.

My setup: 1988 Hatch, 2005 lbs w.o driver, B16A with S1 trans and ACT heavy duty clutch. Homemade CAI, crush bent 2.25 inch exhaust with stock cat, and I *think* 99-00 Si cams. They didn't really help though. The motor is healthy and runs really well.

I was thinking: CTR/00 ITR cams (same, right?), ITR Intake manifold and throttle body, Header (please give suggestions), and maybe 2.5 inch exhaust, with a new 3" CAI - and some better tires and practice. What else would I need or would this be sufficient?

what's the baseline on your car? We were running 13.2 all motor with 165whp in a hatch (weight 1950 w/o driver) so I'd say gut it a bit more, and get some better cams. I'd check into EF-1, slightly more spendy than the CTR/ITR combo, but more power.. As for header, I'm getting a custom header from 10-90 on the EF-1 board. Less than 600, SS with merge... very nice part!

I dont think you should throw in some ctr pistons, port the head, get itr throttle body, manifold, and some ctr cams. Then, get yourself a regulator, rail, and a Holley pump. Next advance the timing a little bit adjust the fuel and invest in some good tires and a clutch. mid 13's low 14's easily accomplishable.

You basically have it all covered.

I know few people that run low 14's in a GSR swapped EG.
CTR cams/ITR valvetrain, IM should easy get you where you want to be.

Nice, thanks for the info. Is there a website for these cams?

Also, I forgot to mention that I already have a Holley 190lph, but with a stock FPR. I haven't had it dynoed yet, but I'm guestimating about 138-140 whp. Do you think 150 whp would be enough (for 13.9-14.0).
