Why bother with that, why not just buy a alarm for like $150-$200 and you get the starter kill, power door lock cotrol and much more. Most of the time, the alarm will come with a lifetime warranty also, depending on which brand you buy. I suggest you just go out and get a car alarm, even a cheap one will come with a starter kill.
yeah but not all cheap alarms come with hoodlocks, and the hoodlock is what i think minty wants..... since the starter kill comes with the hoodlock might as well attach that too and get your moneys worth

I've got the same thing but withought the starter kill since my alarm already has that. I placed the end where you stick the key in right next to the center console, above the gas pedal. I ran the cable past the firewall on the left side of the engine. Drilled some holes next to the hood latch and attatched the actual locking mechanism. The only drawback I see is that my hood is unevenly closed. The side opposite where the lock is located is lower and does not evenly flush with the fender. Oh well, small price to pay for sleeping better at night.

Yes, follow the wires reom the starter, you will NOT want that high current wire, it will be thicker. Usually there is a connector for these wires on the pass. side in front of the shock tower or in that area. Follow the wires, it will be easy to find. Cut and splice the wires, solder them. Remember to place the relay under the hood where a thief cant get to it if the hood is locked.
