Will this Jdm civic type r pulley help my b18c1 or is it a waste of time

Make sure to research the possible problems caused with running a pully that does not have a harmonic balancer / pulse dampener.
Some say its BS, others say there is merit too it.. best to know both sides before you buy.

If you are worried about the claims that pullies with out pulse dampeners are true, you can get your stock pully shaved and rebalanced.
Basicly a shop would cut off the PS/AC extentions and rebalance it. That way you keep the balance and stock pulse dampener. Check out http://www.inlinefour.com , they offer this service.
Its not going to be nearly as light as the Ultra light UO pulley, but its going to be better than the stock weight.
