besides the obvious! I jumped the vtec solenoid so it works! but no vtec ran several ecu's! jun, mugen, skunk 2 and nothing? anyone run into this? thanks

 

i have the same problem, can u let know how i can jump the soleniod?? i want to know if it works.

 

one time when my vtec wasn't working i pulled the silinoid off and the screen inside was filled with crap. so i cleaned it out, and wallah. it worked. just a thougth

 

also check your oil level

if you low....vtec won't work

 

make sure car's temp is up to full temp......is teh car obd2-ob1???....maybe the harness is bad...check solenoid screen/filter// check oil level......and last but not least....get an oil press gueage..if oil press isnt high enough...vtec wont work!

 

Make sure your speedo works too!!

 

yeah I was just messing with my car and put a obd 2 changeover in my eg 92! yeah and my speedo always jumps all over the place? so I thought it would be that! hmmm funny thing is all my oil is there I check it before I turn it on and all fluids are full!

I took apart my head and tried to figure it out and evertyhing was there! the car pulls hard till 5k! and then nothing why keep reving it! I need to get a oil gauge but I went looking for one at local parts store and they said there were out! (all the rice boys took them all and I reallly need one!) haha jk but I do need one!

well I'll keep ******* with it and I'll let you know what happens!
