Anyone in here do a B20 swap in Ek
just wondering how it went, any probs., do you like the motor? just anything you wanna put down would be of great help, was thinking b18, but would rather something with a lil more Tq.
I got one,97 us b20b4 in my 97 hatch. I have never driven/rode in a b18 civic but have drove my frinends jdm gsr hatch and all i can say is that i wish i would have gone that rought. But for I wanted at the time it fit the bill, so ill give the swap a thumbs up but will make a sugestion get the higher compresion b20. The lower compresion one(the one i have) is a good building block if you need more power later or good out of the box. Hope fuly i will be going b20 vetec before next summer guess we will see. You got any questions or problems im me.
i have a b20vec in my 2000 ek......its very reliable i managed to put a/c on it..nd runs very well.....at first i had iac valve problems..and i snapped the timing belt 4 secs after starting the motor...but nothing was damaged...replaced belt ..and has been going good for past 6 months.......
bump im looking into this aswell....(vtecdamian) did you do any bottom end work to rev it? or is it stock block? what head are you using?
anyone else got any info??? any numbers?

it ways exactly the same as any other b-series. an h22 is about 75 lbs more
