I'll be frickin suprised if anyone can help me with this...
ok i got a check engine light on today and no money to take it in, heres the story..
week ago- zex wet kit installed (prelude S f22) - clean *** install, was really easy.
got cooler NGK plugs
2 days ago - filled bottle
checked for leaks in lines
yesterday, did quik run with 55 shot jets- went fine, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FOR REST OF THE DAY/WASENT ONE BEFORE . not a huge noticeable difference in power. havent shot nitrous again yet
noticed clear liquid by nozzle. found a new fitting and rigged it in there last night.
heres what i did between when no check engine light and today: took intake off, unpluged harness ontop of intake manifold right above where intake goes on, drilled larger hole in intake, threaded new fitting in, screwed nozzle in, fits great. put intake back on
get in car today and check engine light stays on after starting car. WHY?
i checked all the haresses i may have bumped around the intake and checked wires to nitrous managment unit.
I DO remeber accidently remote starting my car with the harness unpluged on the top of the intake manifold. this might have done it?
can anyone help diagnose this? how can i check the code? the site i found for codes by searching the boards was for 5th gen only

they are the same codes. your blue plug to use is on the driver's side instead around the corner of the center console at the back behind your radio...head in the direction of the as pedal then look behind the plastic console. The blueplug is there, stick in a paperclip turn the key till the panel lights come on and count the blinks. Long is the first number, short is the second.
thanks, figured it out about 4 minutes after i posted, starting my car with the throttle body harness thing unpluged must have been it like i thought. disconnected neg batt. terminal to reset my ecu and light was off.

That's not how u reset the ecu. To reset the ecu, unplug the clock radie fuse for 10secs then put it back in.

well disconnecting your battery is like pulling ALL of your fuses...so he did accomplish the same thing.
