Hi

I understand that some peeps have installed the ITR swaybars on the EG hows it feel?

How much you guys paid for the swaybar?

What do you guys use up front? (swaybar) stock?

Oh yeah any wher can I get the BSQ or Beaks kit ?

yep...pretty good and cheap upgrade for an EG --
since non si/ex EG's have no front swaybar at all.
92-95 Si/EX civics have a 21 or 22mm stock front swaybar.
TypeR/GSR is 24mm.

You need to get these parts if you want to apply an ITR/GSR front swaybar to an EG:
ITR/GSR/or 92-95 Si/EX front lower control arms
ITR/GSR swaybar endlinks +D brackets/bushings + mouting hardware.

then you'll be set.
GSR/ITR swaybar install parts listed above all usually go for approx. $150.

Sheng @ jdmhondaparts.com has some used ITR swaybars & lower control arms in stock...

Installing a rear ITR swaybar takes a lil more work and you'll need to buy either a Beaks kit or prothane D-bracket kit (under $15) along with some GSR rear swaybar mounting hardware...

-happy swaying.

Thanks guys

Katman

Do you think installing the front and rear sway bars worth the time and money? I use to have a CRX with front and rear sways and I like very much. I think going with the ITR sways are alot cheaper then aftermarket

Thanks again

bsq mounting kit is recommended, I had the ITR rear sway on my GSR for about 4 months without it being reinforced. When I finally got off my **** to order & install the bsq reinforcement kit, I saw a part of the subframe almost "torn out"...needless to say that I'm glad I saw the problem early on. Best $20 i've ever spent.

that's a potential problem, tearing of the rear swaybar mounting areas. on GSR and Delsols.......I haven't seen it happen on EG hatchbacks at all though. It doesn't happen to all Delsol and Integra's though it's a weird phenomenon....

I'd recommend using allen head bolts for the D-brackets instead of the factory 10mm hex bolts for an ITR rear bar on an EG. Factory hex bolts will work, but the tight clearances won't allow you to fit a socket around the bolt. Hex bolts will force you to use a gay-*** wrench, which will only allow you, at most, a quarter of a turn at a time. Trust me, you will definitely want to poop on your bar after that!

Same problem with Integra apps too. Took me about half an hour to tighten each bolt.

Oh yeah, Thanks to Jason for his ITR swaybar installation directions on Hybrid.
