Dyno of my Integra (pics)
I posted this on the forced induction forum but wanted to see what you guys thought.
Here is my Type R after tuning it with my new stand alone (Hondata).
I hope these pics work::
The blue line was the baseline with no tuning, no boost controller, etc. It was soo rich we just stopped the run at 7k.
The red line is with lots more tuning and only 7-8psi I believe.
The green line was my last dyno run after tuning it for the day. I was pleased with the results.
Here is the last dyno with torque curve also.
Here is my Hondata on my passenger seat running the Datalogging program.
The only way I can describe the power now is smooth. I highly recommend going stand alone. There is nothing else that feels like this. It is soo amazingly smooth.
320wheel hp should keep me happy.

Wow that's a linear HP line....hey TurboInteg are you running a t3/t04e? If so your setup is exactly like my friends, and he is putting out like 310 @ 8psi. Great job!
very very nice..
How much boost were you running for your final 319 hp run? I assume you built the motor?.....I too would like to know the details of your setup.
How do you like the Hondata? Which stage do you use (4b?)? Do you tune yourself or do you have a buddy or something to do that for you....If you can extract over 100 hp just in a little tuning with that, it seems like a good system to go with. I like the fact that it's Windows based. Is it a difficult program to use?
good job!

For prices on the Hondata. Go to http://www.hondata.com
Yes it is a t3/t04e turbo. I believe.
Degrated- The last run was done on approximately 11.5psi
I love my Hondata system. It is incredible. I do NOT worry AT ALL about blowing my motor now.
I have stage 2b. I have it tuned on the dyno of course by A.E.B.S. which is a dealer of hondata. They know what they are doing. My car was parked right next to Ed Bergenholtz CRX

What's involved in tuning the Hondata?
Do the steps go something like this?
1) You collect data
2) You analyze it on your laptop
3) You decide what changes you want to make
4) You adjust the appropriate settings through your laptop
5) Save the settings to a disk
6) Give those changes to the tuner
7) The tuner burns the ROM for you (Unless you have the ROM burner)
8) Plug the ROM into your Hondata unit, do some datalogging, and start from the beginning?
Please tell us more, this looks like a great product, but I don't understand the whole process.
Thank YouTurboIntegra,
Karl

THere was a groupbuy on Hondata system...where the heck were you guys? Anyways, it ended 8/20/01...Yes, you've missed the boat...but if you call up the individual dealer, they might squeeze you in.
That stuff is so expensive it doesn't really make a difference getting a free knock sensor, or free shipping, or $50 off.
