Default new here!! i would like your opinions..

Hi! i'm new to this site. but not to honda's. mostly crx's. i have some questions to ask!!!
i have a 1990 crx si with a B20z, zex dry kit, and other aftermarket parts...

my questions are:
-i have a chance to buy a *used* gerret T-4 turbo setup(BOV, intercooler, piping, hoses, etc...) for $1300. then i'm going to do the V-afc hack with 450cc injectors(which i got off this site and the drop shops site. thanks!). i'm going drag racing oct. 4.

i have zero experiance on turbo's. some knowledge on turbo's(stuff i read on here and homemadeturbo).
should i just dive into the turbo get everything i need? hook it up by oct. 4 and go race? or should i just wait? and over the winter. do all my research on turbos and what not. and either buy as i go? or in the spring buy the turbo setup(by then i'll have some good idea what i'm doing)?

there is no one in my area that has experiance with Honda's. so i would be doing this on my own! plus the nearest dyno is 4 hours away. so i can't do that!
is it realistic that i can bolt the turbo setup in, wire the V-afc, and put the injectors in. with NO experiance!!! and have it run good(with out blowing up my engine)???

any help would be helpful!!!
thanks

no experience is fine, but with no knowledge on the various procedures I wouldn't even try attempt it...but judging by the way you're aksing you should do some more searching...the FI forum has TONS of info that will help.
