Issue with inline fuel pump + fmu.. HELP!
The problem I'm having happens whenever I connect the inline fuel pump to the car in conjunction with the vortech 12:1 fmu.. simply put the hose that goes from the FPR to the top port on the FMU always blows off spraying fuel all over the place. When I disconnect the inline pump I never have any issues, but obviously I'm going to be starved for fuel at higher boost levels. My question is twofold..
1. Has anyone ever had this problem? What do you suggest if so/not?
2. Is it feasible to run 7psi with just the 12:1fmu, without the help of an inline fuel pump?
thanks!

yes, in fact when I clamped the hose down very tight.. the fuel expanded in the line and blew the hose apart.. not very safe..
any other ideas?

can't you read, he asked if he can run boost+fmu without inline pump

yea, I was just about to mention that.. it's connected fine, I can hear it click on and off after a few seconds in acc
the fuel arrow in the pump is pointed towards the fuel rail, etc...
what the hell could it be?

how do you figure? If it was a bad pump it wouldn't be flowing at all...
