Default 1st gear is very quick at 7.5 psi. Any is that good?

It seems that I dont have much time in first gear since I upped the PSI. Should I feather the throttle to keep from loosing it at top end. I just up the psi and I think I'm loosing wheel tracking at the top end of the RPM range. I guess I should go search this out, but I'm not sure what to search for.

at 5.5 psi on the small 15G i loose traction. I hit full boost at 4-4.5k and I just spin to all hell.

this is just part of having more power on a fwd car; a lot of guys with 400+whp can't get traction on street tires until 4th gear. With my 220whp, I would burn up 1st and 2nd with my 14x5.5 LS rims on 195/60/14 tires. I now run on 205/50/15 Falken Azenis and don't break traction even in 1st. Try 'em for a daily street tire or use a drag radial if you're on the track.

right now first gear owns me if I give it throttle all the way down I lose traction. I'm running some 14 inch 92 GSR wheels. I think I need some new tread maybe some azenis or such. I cant afford **** right now I might have to go with the walmart specail tire. BLAH
