Default Stumbling hard

Hey guys, just got my turbo setup all on like I want it and am having problems. This is on a d16y7. It is the Greddy tdo4h-15g kit with the E-Manage and the Type 24 FMIC. In the upper range (4k+) my car sumbles and stutters hard. This only happens when I try to boost, and doesnt happen down low....(turbo spools at 2.5k) I've heard that this may be a low fuel pressure problem, but can anyone shoot me some insight?? Should'nt the E-Manage be trying to compensate for the low pressure??

Maybe you didn't hook the e-manage up properly? IMO throw away the e-manage.

The E-Mangae is wired properly. My next question would be in the FPR department. My original Honda FPR worked on vaccum (or so I think). With boost hitting it instead of vaccum, would this cause the problems that I'm having??

The E-Manage was not pre-programmed (or at least I don't think) because it still had the "not street legal if removed sticker on it" and all of the ***** were set in the middle. I tuned it some last night and it is running a little better...but still stumbles. Do you see spark as a problem here?? I had been running a little rich before putting the turbo on, so now I guess that would still be my problem!

you should get it to a tuner before boosting hard...are you detonating maybee??? what else does your setup consist of, plugs, fuel pump, injectors etc. also boost will not hurt you fpr so thats probably not your problem,

All I have right now is new NGK plugs (V power one step colder than stock). I don't hear any detonation...which is a good sign..but it's still stumbling hard. I tryed tuning it some, which made it a little better, but feel like fuel pressure may be my problem. Anyone agree to this?? Stock DX Fuel pump should or should not be able to handle the stock boost on a Greddy kit??

you need a bigger fuel pump for sure, what are you running for boost??? what are your injectors??? im telling you you will be sorry if you try to tune that yourself with no wideband or anything, if your running lean you will blow your ****. but it does sound like a fuel problem, not a pressure problem but delevery, most people run a stock regulator with stock fuel pressure (with the exeption of a vortech 12:1 or similar).

Yeah...Im running stock EX injectors on a stock DX fuel pump. Im also running the stock 5.5 psi of boost (but its closer to 4.5 at the intake due to the HUGE fmic Im running).

no injectors come with the kit. the FMU has to be mounted after the FPR or else the regulator will regulate the regulator.

I hope you didn't pay for those injectors. ALL B and D-series injectors are 240cc.

Have you tried regapping your plugs? A similar thing happend to me when I installed my MSD... got a really nasty stumble over 4k rpm in boost. I regapped the plugs and viola! ran like a charm

yeah i also forgot to mention that. my plugs were gapped to stock gap and they work. best for me. all other gaps sucked on my car.
