Suspension install, how do I get this bolt out?
How do I get that bolt off? the bolt in the center of the screen. It is the rear shock cap bolt. I used a allen key and a wrench and held the allen to the ground, and proceeded to strip out the allen part. both fronts came off fine which makes me even more worried. I already searched and came up with nothing. Any help is apperciated, thanks.
Any easier way? If I have to I'll go impact it out tonight, just I don't have one right with me... thanks for the reply any other suggestions?

if its stripped, then impact is the only way....
are you gettin new shocks? you can use a clamp to hold the shaft of the old shock to keep it from turning. it will damage it tho...

Locking vice grips tightly on the damper shaft between the coils will help discourage the shaft from rotating with the nut on top of the mount. Be careful if you get it really hot and then put the impact to it, they occasionally pop apart and will give you a nice gas shower.

opss sorry meant a vise grip....
use the impact with the vise grip. we had to do this to my friends shocks...you have to be careful with those allen wrenches, it has to fit tightly for it not to strip.
