like the title says, ive check all the basics (starter, fuses etc.....)
whats wierd is that when i turn the key in the egnition, the only lights on the gauge that lights up is my oil light and the check engine light. has anyone ever had this problem? if so, can u help me out. TIA

 

i know a good way to fix it. get an integra motor.

Be more specific.. does it turn over? are you getting spark?

 

everything seems to be fine, it coughs but juss doesnt start, im almost certain its an electrical problem, but cant figure it out.

 

Maybe it's your ignition or starter. Check those out.
It could also be your battery. Maybe you don't have enough distilled water, or maybe the battery's dead.

It could be your alternator. Check it out!

i tried everything that could be possible, but still nothing
keep in mind that when i turn the key in the ignition, the only lights that turn on are my check engine light and my oil light. (usually the srs light and stuff are suppose to blink on and off also). thanks for all the input so far.

 

im thinking that a b18c1 would fix your problem...only a few grand for the swap and what not...the cheapest way to fix it

 

do u know if anybody fcked with your car? check if your plug wires are right...but u say its elctrical, check if its throwing any codes, check your oil if u havent already, ie ur oil light

 

one more thing, usually when u turn the key in the ignition theres that little clicking noise almost like its giving the car a signal to start. my car isnt giving me that small noise. i tried in my friends car and it makes that noise too. so i dont know whats going on.

listen for your fuel pump kicking on it's prolly your fuel pump. just put your ear by your rear seat and listen for a motor noise if you dont hear it you need a fuel pump. ANd the little clicking noise should be your starter solinoid but if its kicking over then its working and so is your starter. so check for fuel and spark.
