93 Integra starting problem?!?
This has been happening for a while now. In the mornings when I go out to start my car, I turn the key over and nothing, not even a click, But if you hold the key in the start position- for say maybe 5 seconds- then it starts like a champ( no long drug out weak sounding start, more like a healthy start). But after that , once it has been running it starts w/o holding it.
If any one has and help or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

This is just a suggestion, gen2's are notorious for starting problems during the warm part of the year because of the main fuel relays behind the driver side knee bolster.
If I had to wager a guess, I'd say your starter's going. See if you can have a friend do the tap tap taperoo trick on the starter when that happens. But first, do the easy thing and check your battery posts and terminals for corrossion and clean them if there is any.
when the fuel relay is going it cranks and doesn't start until the relay cools down. you might have an ignition switch going out. theres so many things in the whole starter/fuel/ignition circuit that its too hard to just narrow down. theres a ton of electronic diagnostics that needs to be done. take it by a dealer and describe the problem to one of the tech's if they aren't busy, they might have an idea.
