OH NO reliable honda is messing up
Ive recently been talking about how good my rex has been good to me.. I was driving home to day and a check engine light came ... the car started to sputter shortly afterwards. I was almost home .. less than a mile. I get home and wait on the car to cool down. Then I popped the hood.. I checked the usually. I notice that the radiator was low on coolant.. maybe it was over heating or a leak. So I put some a/f in it. Then I started it up. I notice also why it was there my fans werent comming on. I wait like 10 mins or so b4 I turned it off. I guess maybe that is the cause of it .. Any other ideas? Also, maybe is there a fuse or something else eletrical that can be wrong...
check your fuses, the main relay is a fuse..check your fanswitch, check for leaks,,maybe you need a new head gasket, thermostat, water pump any of those you should check out if you can

Your ECU will blink to show the codes. Pull the carpet up on the far passenger side near the glove box & you will see a metal plate on the floor. Once you see teh plate you will see a small "window" for a light to flash. Turn the key to teh accesory position & count how many times the ECU flashes. If you have multiple codes there will be a longer pause in between blinks. You can then search for a list of codes on the net & viola you now know WTF is wrong w/ the car. HTH

Sounds like your 02 sensor, but pull the carpet back and check like dj said to do.

The O2 sensor can do that, a failing MAP sensor could do it potentially, there could be other issues. Give us the code so that we can help.
