wiring help questions:
does the gauge of wire make a difference when making connections? i had to extend the primary O2 sensor in the dx wiring harness to the primary O2 on the b18b by using the clip from the b18b harness and using 18 gauge wire in between, while the harness itself uses 20 gauge. now im throwing the O2 sensor code.

You are using a slightly thicker wire which shouldn't cause any problems. If you are throwing the code, double check your wiring and connections first. Shielded wire is used in the stock harness for the WHT wire on the O2 which can sometimes cause it to throw the code since it's more vulnerable to electrical interference's.
