LS/Vtec Question

Default LS/Vtec Question

If I purchase a Complete first b16a1 with the cable tranny will all the parts from that engine bolt directly to a b18a/b block...car is 90 CRX SI

yes they all will. be sure to use an ls head gasket and b16a head studs. tap the head and block for the oil line.

They won't exactly "bolt" directly onto the B18A/B block. You will need to have the headed modded to fit the block - relocate dowel pins, plug oil passage, etc. Check out C-Speed Racing because they have a very good informative LSVTEC buildup with lots of detailed pics.
