Default B18C5 into a 99 GSR ..need some swap info

Is this a direct bolt in? What do I need if anything to make this swap happen.

The motor: B18C5 (1998)
The car: 99 GSR

Let me know. Are the axles different? Motor Mounts? Wiring Harness? Shift Linkage?

I heard this was a direct bolt in, but didn't get it from a trust worthy source...let me know otherwise.

Take care,

Your source WAS untrustworthy.....can't be done, but I'll take the B18C5 off your hands for you

Just transfer your GSR engine harness onto the ITR motor and it will be plug and play. Replace any missing parts (if any) with ones from your GSR. There will be no extra wiring or anything, should be a direct bolt in and all plug and play, it can't get any easier than that!

Yep, I have done this exact swap and all is plug and play...

However, what I did is I used the IAT and fuel injector wiring from the ITR engine harness and cleaned up the engine harness a little bit since the IAT, IACV and such sit on the BACK of the Intake Manifold on the B18C1, whereas the C5 they sit in the front of the Intake Manifold.

That`s all you might have to mess with. Other than that, plug and play.
