Default compression test numbers a little low

if you look in my sig i am selling a teg for 2k.
this was the test car.
i'm well aware of how to determine if it's the valves or rings.

the b18b gave a 160,160,160,50
by those #'s it is safe to say that 1 of the cylenders are fried. i dumped oil in the
cyl with the 50 reading and the cmpression # did not change which leads me to belive it's the valves. so my question is........

would'nt the car run like complete crap if there was 1 cyl registering a 50?
thanks

i have a CEL on for cyl mis-fire.
the car starts up and idles fine. smells a little rich but does't blow smoke in anyway.
i would think with 1 cylander having such a low compression # the car would idle like crap and not run well at all.
i'm just puzzled because the even with the low reading the engine sounds and runs great.
would a valve job correct this?

do a leakdown test....it will give you better information to work with, and you can pinpoint exactly where you are losing cylnider pressure.

Yea, leak down. It could also be your head gasket.

well i dumped about a capfull of oil into the bad cylinder and the compression # stayed the same so i would assume that the rings aren't the problem.
