Default SOHC VTEC creamer died... Will a D15 crank work on a D16????

last night while cruisin on da highway, my motor decided to take a **** on me and smoke everyones car...
thanxs to everyone that stayed with me and watched for me....

i havent slept yet.... i took my car lil apart last night...
i took the oil pan....and find a hole in it.... when i look inside the #4 rod was broke... yup, threw a rod.....
the block was hit inside... dont feel like its good anymore.... the crank actually welded to the rod bearings.... so crank its fucked...
i got a Z6 block i can use and the extra piston.... i need a 1.6L D series honda crankshaft.... PLEASE CALL ur hookups... ask around..... i need this ASAP... and with my financial situation right now.. please try to do it as cheap as possible.... right now this accident left me 500+ on the hole.... here are some of the pics of the damage

now... i got a D15B sitting out there.... will that crank work on my case??

i know.... but i dont wanna use the D15 block.... IMO i feel more confortable with the stock block.... IMO they are more beffier...

someone checked and the crank journals are different. D15 is 45mm and D16 is 55 i think.

hes a buddy of mines.... too bad he never picks his damn phone and i cant get a hold of him!

i guess i am just going to rebuild that 1.5L block.,, use the Z6 rods and pistons and stroke it to a 1.6L.... and mini me my motor.....hgopefully it will have the same power as my old RIP D16Z6

Hey bro, I got a D16A6 crank that hasn't been taken out of the block sitting in my backyard. I'll ship it to you for pretty cheap if you want (i'm not gonna use it!), it's in excellent condition! I'll P/M you...

DUDE, I am sooooo sorry to hear all this. I too have a D16A6 block and crank and all, torn apart, its yours if you need it. I you pay for shipping of course. Most of it needs to be machined. Just hit me up If you need any of it.

Again I am so sorry to hear about this. I know that motor of yours was strong. 15.1 in a hatch, thats damn good.

Is a sad day to see another single cam go down

No he wansnt. I guess its posible that its from hydrolock, but I doubt it. He would have told us. Or he could have been sleeping at the wheel and hit a deep puddle

hey .... can u get a price to 45459 on OHIO...

anyways.... yea that lil motor gave me a 2.1 60 foot time.... and that was before some tweaking.... i think i had it down to 14.9'ish with slicks....
but no i had no juice or turbo.....

i was going from 4th to 5th doing about 7000 rpms.. at around 120mph....

IMO the oil pump wasnt feeedin a lot of oil and the bearing loose lubrication.... and cause it to over heat and weld to the crank....
theres a bearin welded to the crank still..... i cant yet take off....

You were going to replace that soon weren't you. And I think you were questioning your oil pressure. All in the past month right.

Oh and do you know how much one of our cranks weigh. I have to ship something out soon so I might ask them.
