a couple days ago i started noticing this wierd noise. Its happens when the car is accelerating it makes this faint whistling noise like some kind squeaking or something i cant explain it, and it gets loader when the car starts to spool. Once I hit full boost and get into vtec range the noise will fade away. I thought maybe it was the bov leaking but I noticed I havent been loosing any boost while spooling or anything.. Another thing is quite noticable in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, but in 4th the sound is not as obvious. Anyone know what this could be this is on a SI with a Greddy Kit non intercooled and Im running stock boost.

 

tighten the blow off valve sping on your greddy bov just to test your previous thery it sounds like it may be leaking ... if its not that loosen it back up so it doesnt stick or something stupid happens ... greddys like to stick if they are new and too tight
