H22a Problem
Please help me, I swap a h22a into a 92 Accord, and everything was done! The car runs weird, when I didn't put in the gear, I can rev up to 8,000rpm. But when I try to drive it, (put in 1st gear) the car can only drive 5-10mph (The rpm won't pass 2k, if I step on the gas, it just like nothing, won't move or anything.). 2nd gear the same, won't pass 5-10mph. The only way I can rev the rpm over 2,000 while sitting in gear is press down the clutch. Once I release the clutch, the car will not run again.... until it drop below 10mph. Please help me... what is my problem!!
Thanks man, I think I know what is the problem.... I tried it this morning! I figured out something, the car can runs now.
The problem is
...
What is that part call? What it does for the engine?
...... but now the idle is like 1,200 rpm.(too high for normal)

i took my POS EGR out..

btw.. recently I was having idle problems also.. and it was the fast idle valve. it's the black looking cylinder right behind the intake manifold with coolant hoses connected to it. I had to soak it in carbon cleaner and after it was cleaned and dried up.. my car idled fine with a little fine tune of the idle screw.

Oh man .... the problem came back!! I remove the egr valve, and wash it real clean ... put it back in! The car run fine. After 5 miles on the country, I try to run on high speed .. the motor just ....tooooooooooooom....rpm drop, speed drop ! just like the previous problem. until I have to unplug the EGR sensor harness ... and drive it home with the engine check light on.
shouldnt be egr valve if you want to check it unplug the vacuum hose that goes into the egr valve and see if it makes a difference, also check the code on the ecu that will tell you the problem...
