car is an 01 sh. i got in it took off everything was ok then after bout 5 to 10 minutes it started not wanting to go into gear very easily. the higher rpm the harder it gets. it feels like the clutch isnt fully dissengaging. i tried bleedin the clutch. didnt work....

 

simular thing happened to me. took it to the stealership and they rebuilt the tranny for free under warranty

 

the car will go into gear easier at lower rpm's and at higher rpms it gets harder to get it into gear. it also goes in to first gear fine when i go to take off. can any body give me a little advice?

 

ill bet your syncros are starting to wear down, first gear has a double syncro thats why first feels ok, it could be a bent shifter fork in the transmission? is there ANY other problems, noises, fluid condition issues, idle problems, that are apparent? a little more info could help

did this happen all the sudden, or a gradual problem?

does it happen in all the gears except first?

how many miles on the transmission? was it recently rebuilt?

hey, I thought Im the only one with that problem. I had dat problem also. Is there a solution? Im thinking about the short shifter from pspec tunning.

 

the car has 82k mi. and yes it happened all of a sudden. and no the tranny has not been rebuilt.
i had one person tell me that they had a similar problem and the pressure plate was not fully disengaging. thats what their problem ended up bein.
its stressin me out . i just wantt to get it figured out.

 

well i'm going to assume that it is the stock clutch. sounds like the pressure plate and or the clutch disc took a crap. if it happened all of the sudden its probably not going to be a syncro problem. so i would defiantly check out your clutch, its most likely the problem. good luck!

 

i'm having somewhat of a similar problem...car is a 2000 with about 108,000 on the tranny...2nd and 3rd are having grinds every now and then and 5th is popping out of gear on it's own. running a fidanza stage 3 clutch and fidanza flywheel...any advice?

 

if you have grinds on only certain gears, it is probably synchro's.

If every gear goes in hard, chances are it's clutch related
