i have a b16, and when it warms up and driven, it's always at about the half way mark. is that normal or should i get a new thermostat? if i should get a new one, which one and for what application. my motor is a first gen b16.

 

prolly nothin to worry about as long as its not tooo hot...maybe a new radiator?

 

you could try flushing your coolant, buying a new thermostat, temperature switch. do the small things first.

 

if that thermostat is old you should rplace with a new one because it helps warm up quick time to be faster and that way your car go in to close loop quicker.
