Default Tips cleaning headlights

I have a CRX with the JDM front end conversion and the headlights and the lights it came with have some sort of crust on it... was said to be brake fluid. I've tried numerous things to get it off but it wont seem to come off... any tips on what to use?

do not use nail polish remover, whatever anyone says.. it will dull the plastic... I just kept looking for a clean set.

Well there are a few methods that I have heard but have yet to try. One is getting some plastic polish and trying that another way is to wet sand them with very very fine sandpaper. Like I said I havent tried them only heard them but most likely if it is break fluid unless you replace the lense its probably going to stay cloudy.

mysiqu is exactly right (sand and polish), just do that and you'll be fine, providing we are talking about the plastic lenses

If you're scared to bring sandpaper to your plastic headlights, don't be. I personally haven't done it, but have done something similar. Back in school we'd have a block of plastic, and we'd sand the living **** out of it, then polish it with a grinder (with the cloth attachment). It'd be clear as glass after we were done.
