My friends boost gauge dosent move in neautral is there something wrong with it or is it suppose to be like this?

 

mines dont move but the vacuum moves.

 

you shouldn't build boost in neutral, but your gauge should still move as you change vacuum.

 

The only way you're going to get boost is if you take it to redline (not advised)

 

or you can install a two step

 

lots of cars can build boost in neutral. some can't. you do have to rev it pretty agressivly but not redline in any of the cars i have tried it on. (mostly just seeing if the bov was working after install)

i'm sure it's fine and is no indication of the quality or function of the setup.


i can make 3 psi but my car is really slow in neutral so i don't care

 

You can build boost in neautral with a two step. Two step is great to build some boost off the line at the track.
