vpc16 runs anywhere from 6.50 - 10.00 a gallon depending on who you know. the vp103 is most likely the same price. i cannot see it being any different. 55 gallons is usually around $350.

Do NOT buy the drum if it has been opened. I blew a motor from VP that was in a 55 gal drum that had been opened for about a year. We only buy it in 5 gallon cans now.

I was also thinking about buying a 55 galon drum, but what about storage? Warning stupid newbie question==== do you guys think it would be safe to store a 55 galon drum (sealed) in a garage with a gas dryer?

I keep a 35 in my garage. I figure there's 2 cars in there with gas in them too.

Drums are ok, just make sure the top is sealed after each use. Also, id keep the drum on top of some wood...

vpc16 wholesales for around 6.50. i have gotten it for that in 30+ gallons. usually retails for 8-10 bucks depending on the shop. we can get it from there distributer in delaware, fresh can everytime. i agree i would never buy it in large quantities from a shop that i didn't know personally. never let it sit for more than 4-6 months after opening the container. IMO.
