I was wondering what you guys think would be the ideal rpm range to shift at per gear in my 94 ex coup with I H E........I use shift around 7ish from first on up. Any advice.......This is on the street. Thx

 

7k on factory tach, which is 6700-6800 in the real world. Now if you add a cam gear, set it at 3 degrees retard, then you can shift at 7200-7300 on factory tach, which is about 7000 real rpms.

I shift at 7000 with/without the nitrous, using the shiftlight.
