I was shopping around today looking for the best deal on race fuel. As always
I was floored by the price increases from last year. With C16 at 8.99 a gallon
by the gallon and $8.15 if I buy a 55 gal drum. Is this in line?? Or am I getting
a bad deal???

I also looked into some of the other fuels in my area. Everyone always trash's
Sunoco but I called them anyway, they have a fuel called Maximal or something
with a 116 octane rating. The price is a good bit better at $7 a gal either in bulk
or per gallon. Is this fuel as bad as I've heard??

Also found a co. called Power Mist, there 115 octane is priced real nice at $6 a
gallon.

Also, is oxagenated fuel legel to run with NHRA or NOPI??

 

your price might be a little high, not much though

 

steve, we get c16 at C&C in manassas, virginia for $8 a gallon. a 55 gallon drum is $415.25 (thats about 7.73 per gallon). those prices include tax. for the drum, you'll need to swap them a core drum or add $25 to the price. best part is, the drums are almost always in stock.

I checked another local place and got the same exact price as the first. Only
they will deliver the drum right to the house.

Guess you have to pay to play huh...
