Default Best places to apply Dynamat Extreme to reduce road noise?

Someone gave me about 20-25 sq/ft of Dynamat extreme. It's a good amount to cover a lot of areas. Can anybody tell me where the most effective places are to block out road noise? This stuff only weighs about 10 lbs. I was thinking the doors are probably the places where a lot of noise comes in. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Under the rear seat/rear wheel wells
The doors don't really make too much of a difference, but this was in a civic.

in a type r... everywhere. for me, most of my noise come froms underneath me and also all around me. the sound environment for a type r is shitty. most of the sound deadners were taken out by honda themselves to reduce weight. id say leave it. use it for the hatch and the trunk instead

You're right. There is sound coming from everywhere. I think alot is coming from the hatch area.

I don't know exactly how much I have, but I'm just guessing it's around 20 sq/ft. I could be wrong though. Dynamat Extreme is also suppose to be lighter than the original and also 4 times more powerful. That's what they say, but who knows.

Road noise eminates from the tires, so cover near the fender wells first.

I thought the whole point of a Type R was to reduce weight IE take out sound deadener ! I bought my GSR for this exact reason! The best way to eliminate road noise is to find a person with a gsr and put extreem in all the places you see factory sound deadining. Once that is done you can start adding extreem to the loudest places.

Sorry, but I seriously doubt 10 lbs is going to make any difference.
