Default Have a alpine changer and a JVC deck. Question?

I have this alpine 6 disc cd-changer laying around and was wondering if i could hook it up to my JVC El Kameleon. It has the cd changer option but i was just wondering if the two would be compatible knowing that they are both different brands. I ran a search but did nt really find anything. thanks

I would bet that your odds are 20 to 1 against it, Alpine is nothing but a b*tch about changers, type in the product numbers and "adapter" into google. If they make an adapter you should find it that way. You could also go to Alpines FAQ's at http://www.alpine1.com.

Good luck is what you need.

You can get an Alpine RF modulator and run the changer with your JVC. You will loose some sound quality.

I have an Alpine CD changer hooked up to my factory Accord radio, I don't know if there is one for JVC to Alpine.

Try calling Crutchfield and asking them: 1-888-955-6000

i agree, all you need is the changer control or display and a rf and you'll be able to do it, you'll just have to change your radio station whenever you wanna listen to your changer, i'd say get a alpine unit as well, or i can sell you a changer ready honda radio

The stock systems for hondas are made by alpine. So alpine changers would work with stock systems
