i just got some jdm guages for my eg and the temp guage and fuel guage are messed up.
the temp guage doesnt move at all, and the fuel guage doesnt go all the way up.

does anyone know if the temp and fuel guages on the jdm cluster are configured the same as the usdm si or vx clusters so i can buy the internals of the guages from the dealer?

 

The cluster is bad, the internals will work fine if they are good. Nothing wrong with the gas gauge though, you have to set the needle to whatever the tank indicated before you pulled your old cluster. It should be ok.

 

o so its true that u have to set the gas gauge? i thought that was juts a rumor

 

anyone know what's the deal with spoon gauges? i tried one and none of the gauges behaved properly on my 2000 teg. isolated incident or just not for US cars.
