Default Fixing EG JDM cluster fuel gauge

I have a JDM EG6 cluster that doesn't seem to have a working fuel gauge. The tach and speedometer seem ok. I searched and found this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1845811 that talks about the fuel gauge component.

Q: Has anyone fixed a EG JDM cluster with this issue by replacing the fuel gauge component? Would the USDM part work? Part number would be appreciated too!

to make the fuel light to work i read somewhere on ht how you need to get a gsr fuel meter the thing in side the tank,,, but yeah i got the same issues..wit the jdm gas meter my **** is way off..and i replace everything..once in awhile it will work and go to E but mostly stops just under 1/4 mark.....

and i tryd the same cluster in my friends car and it same to work fine...
maybe the cluster dont like my cx ahahah

I'm pretty sure the "gas low" light is cluster-side, not tank side and that it's triggered by the cluster's gas needle reaching a certain point, not anything more.

You can swap with a USDM gauge with JDM face, but you might end up breaking your needles. If you truly believe your fuel gauge is broken, CXshoe has a replacement fuel gauge.
